I, like many other readers, made some rather grand reading plans in 2018…. of which I completed like 2?? *face dives into the shame corner*

I have many reading plans this year. Pretty BIG plans. In the sense that it will take time to complete them….
But yet….. I haven’t even finished 1 book this year so far….. and it’s a book I started last year……
There are so many distractions….. 1) I had exams, the nasty things. 2) The begining of New Years are always hectic?? Or is this just me?? 3) Me and my siblings are binge watching Game of Thrones (it’s pretty dang good) and 2am is our cut off point to stop watching….
Our sleep schedules are fine, why do you ask?
But alas. This post is about last years failures.
Let’s glare at my failures and shake our heads in shame.

What books did you not get round to reading last year?? Do you plan on picking them up soon? Do you have an ever feared list of books that you keep meaning to read but somehow don’t and the books grow ever more vicious over time??

I have a massive ongoing ‘tbr’ list that I haven’t decided to read at any time in particular, I’ll never finish all of them anyway on account of life being finite. I haven’t read any of the books on this list except ‘Turtles All the Way Down,’ which I really liked! I have OCD and I think it was one of the only books I’ve read that represented the disorder well.

I know how you feel, I could read a hundred of the books on my tbr but I’ll always be stabbing myself in the back as I constantly add new ones that I want to read! XD
That’s great! I’m ashamed that I still haven’t read it yet, especially if it had good OCD rep! I have OCD too and finding books where characters also suffer from it is rare, sadly even rarer still for it to be accurate rep.
I’m glad you enjoyed it though! I’ll have to bump it up the TBR list for sure!

ughh there are SO MANY books I didn’t get to last year that I don’t want to think about it…hopefully, I can get to them this year though.

Same. Every time I think about the amount of books I DIDN’T read, I cry a little. Here’s to reading all the books ever this year! *raises orange juice glass in a fancy manner*

Thank God there’s no jail for TBR failures haha! And don’t feel bad- I just finished my FIRST book of 2019 the other day, so… it happens. 🙂 Plus Game of Thrones is a good excuse.
Okay the books. These all look pretty good, but Circe… yeah I need that one.

ME TOO! But I keep finding new things to watch and am trying to be reasonable like, “Hmmmmm. One episode then I’ll read!” ….. who ever only watches the ONE EPISODE?!?!?
My TBR full on growls whenever it sees me and it is most likely planning an attack! XD

Omg I’m with you on watching Game of Thrones while the TBR shouts angrily at our life choices lmaooo *hides from TBR* It’s just…??? We need more hours in the day. That would fix everything. I also failed on These Rebel Waves! And Wintersong. And…Circe.😂But I can attest to the brilliance of Lady Midnight, DOSAB and Turtles!! Here’s my TTT for this week!
